I need help with my math homework, It is intergers (and i’m not very good at it) I was wondering if anyone new a free online tutor that i could find this late at night?

Question: i need help with some math(PRECALCULUS) problems PLEASE!?

1.)Simplify: there is a square root sign and underneath it is all of this: 1+tan^2x

Answer: Hi blonde.

1) √(1 + tan²x)

Use a Pythagorean Identity.
√(sec²x) <= FINAL ANSWER

2) cos²x / (1 - sinx)

Use a Pythagorean Identity on the numerator.
(1 - sin²x) / (1 - sinx)

Factor out a "-1" from the numerator and the denominator.
-(sin²x - 1) / -(sinx - 1)

Factor the numerator (difference of squares).
-(sinx + 1)(sinx - 1) / -(sinx - 1)

Cancel out "-(sinx - 1)" from the numerator and the denominator
sinx + 1 <= FINAL ANSWER

3) cos²xtan²x

Use the Tangent Identity.
(cos²x)(sin²x / cos²x)

Cancel out "cos²x" from the numerator and the denominator.
sin²x <= FINAL ANSWER

4) tanx = 2/3
secx = √(13) / 3

Not quite sure how to do this one (trigonometry isn't my strong point).

5) cos³xsin²x = (sin²x - sin⁴x)cosx

I would first rewrite the left side of the equation.
(cosx)cos²xsin²x = (sin²x - sin⁴x)cosx

Use a Pythagorean Identity.
cosx(1 - sin²x)sin²x = (sin²x - sin⁴x)cosx

Distribute the "sin²x" on the left side of the equation.
cosx(sin²x - sin⁴x) = (sin²x - sin⁴x)cosx <= FINAL ANSWER
