Question: Can anyone help me with this math problem DEALING WITH FRACTIONS?

1 1/3+ 2+ 3/4

Answer: First, you need to find a common denominator for the fractions. Since 3 and 4 both go into 12 evenly, the common denominator is 12. Therefore,

1/3 = (1 * 4) / (3 * 4) = 4 / 12
3/4 = (3 * 3) / (4 * 3) = 9 / 12

Next, add the two fractions together and convert the improper fraction to a mixed number:

(4/12) + (9/12) = 13/12

13 divided by 12 = 1, remainder 1, so the mixed number is 1 1/12

The equation is now 1 + 2 + 1 1/12.

Add the three whole numbers, and bring the fraction along for the ride:

1 + 2 + 1 1/12 = 4 1/12
