Algebraic Simplification Integration
When faced with a difficult integration math problem, try to see if the function can be simplified. For example, using algebraic simplification to solve the following seemed difficult integration problem:
This function seems like a difficult function to perform integration, however by further examination using algebraic simplification, we can re-write the function as follows:
Then the integration problem is much easier since we know how to integrate 1 and 1/ (x+1) is one of the few integration functions you should remember. The resulting integration problem is solved as follows.
