Math Help Differential Equations

Question: show dy/dx = 1 + 2x + y^2 + 2xy^2 is a separable equation?
This is a differential equations math question. thanks if you can help.
Answer: The right side factors
1 + 2x + y^2 + 2xy^2
= (1 + 2x) + (y^2 + 2xy^2)
= (1 + 2x) + y^2 (1 + 2x)
= (1 + 2x)(1 + y^2).
Thus, the DE may be rewritten
dy/dx = (1 + 2x)(1 + y^2)
Note: The algebra below has been fixed.
————-
This may be separated as follows:
dy/(1 + y^2) = (1 + 2x) dx
(For completeness, this has general solution
arctan y = x + x^2 + C, or y = tan(x^2 + x + C).)
I hope this helps!

Math Help With Percentages

Question: Help With Math percentage problem?
What percent of 68 is 17?
I am just blanking on how to set that up. How do you set it up in PROPORTION form???
Answer: (17/68) *100
= 25%
There’s two ways to look at it:
1) x% of 68 = 17
thus x = 17 * 100 / 68 = 25
2) think about what fraction 17 is of 68.
17/68 = 0.25, which is 25%.
I hope that helps.
