Math Help Algebra Radicals

Question: Help With Math? College Algebra Question?
I have a group project online to do and don’t understand exactly what I am supposed to do. We have to create a new town named Luca with a population of 3,942. I have to graph the Growth Model by Radical Equation. Please Help! If you need additional information let me know. I really need this done!
They are doing different aspects. I really have no idea. I just need to know how to go about getting that.
Answer: Before you graph you need to have the model and data. Model will be a formula that is assigned or you derive, with time (years) the likely independent variable.
An example would be p(t) = 3942 + p1*f(t), where 3942 is the initial population, p1 is the population growth constant applied to the time function. An example of the latter would be f(t) = sqrt(t), t = number of years after the current one.
Once you calculate p(t) for a number of values of t, you can use these as inputs into an EXCEL chart (graph).
