Question: How do I do this ? [ math homework for 6th graders ]?

2^2 x ( 4 x 3 )^2 – -8 + 4 / 2y = -7 x 5^2 (2 x 4 )

pLease heLp mee ! i riLi nid heLp . sorry for my incorrect spelLing cuzz im riLi in a hurry ! [ ^ exponent | / divide | - negative or minus | y = variabLe . ] pLease heLp mee !
hey guys sorry but 992 isnt dee answer my math teacher toLd us . She sed it was sumtin like 4. bLahh bLahh bLahh

Answer: 2² x (4 x 3)² +8 + 4 / 2y = -7 x 5² (2 x 4)

2²*(12)² +8 + 4/2y = -7*5²*8
576 +8 +2/y = -1400
584 +2/y = -1400
2/y = -1984
y = 2/-1984
y = -1/992

Leibnitz

Isaac Newton and Leibnitz

Since Isaac Newton ’s math results were published so late, a bitter controversy arose between the supporters of Isaac Newton and the German mathematician and philosopher, Gottfried Leibnitz.

Mini Leibnitz biography

Gottfried Leibnitz was born in 1646 and died in 1716. Gottfried Leibnitz had not yet started his study of mathematics in 1671 and it was not until October 29, 1675 that the first mention of the calculus notation in used today appeared in his notes.

What did Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibnitz discover?

Gottfried Leibnitz noticed that differentiation reduced the degree of a polynomial. Gottfried Leibnitz used the notation x/d but soon changed it to dx. In 1676, in correspondence witht he Royal Society , Gottfried Leibnitz learnt that Isaac Newton had produced some important results. Isaac Newton supplied him with a variety math theorems but referred to his method of fluxions by means of two anagrams from which Leibnitz deduced nothing.

In a reply he gave his rules for dy and dx. Isaac Newtonn, in his Principia, mentioned that Leibnitz had discovered independently a method which hardly differed from mine except in words and symbols.

Leibnitz formula and Leibnitz rule

The greatest merit of Gottfried Wilhelm Von Leibnitz’ work was his creation of a mathematical symbolism. Besides Gottfried Leibnitz’ introduction of dx, Gottfried Leibnitz invented the notations dy/dx and d/dx.

dy/dx represents the difference in y- coordinates/ the difference in x- coordinates. Gottfried Leibnitz’ work is foundation to the notations in calculus used today.

Question: a little Math Help from you smart guys plse?

1-find the center and radius of the circle: x^2+y^2-4x+6y-23=0
2-for the function f described by f(x)=x^2-3x, find f(-2), f(0), f(a+b)
3-y varies directly as the cube of x and x is multiplied by 0.5. What is the effect on y?
4-solve log(small 2)(log(small3)x)=2
5-a chemist has 2 solutions of ammonia&water. Sol A is 6% ammon. Sol B is 2% ammon. How many liters of each solution are needed in order to obtain 80 liters of a Sol that is 3.2% Ammon
6-a plane can fly 190 miles with the wind in the same time that it takes to fly 160 miles agst the wind. Wind speed is 30 MPH. How fast can the plane fly in still air?
7-The centripetal force F of an object moving in a circle varies directly as the square of the velcity V and inversely as the radius R of the circle. If f=8 when V=1 and R=10, what is F when v=2 and r=16?
thanks vm in advance plse show the work thanks again for helping a not so good math student, (but im trying)

Answer: 1: (x^2-4x+4)+(y^2+6y+9)=36
(x-2)^2+(y+3)^2=6^2
center=(2,-3); radius=6

2: f(-2)=4+6=10
f(0)=0+0=0
f(a+b)=a^2+2ab+b^2-3a-3b

3.y=kx^3
y/8=k(x/2)^3
Y is reduced by a factor of eight.

4. log(base 2)(log(base 3)(x))=2
log(base 3)(x)=2^2=4
x=3^4=81

5. Let # of litres of A=x
.06x+.02(80-x)=.032*80
1.6+.04x=2.56
x=.96/.04=24 litres A, 56 litres B

6. let mph airspeed = x
distance=rate*time therefore d/r=t
190/(x+30)=160/(x-30)
cross multiply
x^2-900=30400
x=sqrt(31300)=176.918

7. F=(kV^2)/R
8=k/10
80=k
Therefore
F=4*80/16=20

You’ve got quite the assignment there. At least you’re not waiting until Monday.
