Question: 5th grade math,Dividing Fractions…please help!?

It says “To divide by a fraction,multiply by the reciprocal of the fraction.” What the heck is the “reciprocal” ????

Answer: The reciprocal of a fraction is the fraction flipped over. An example is 5/8 the reciprocal is 8/5!
