Help With Math Decimals

Question: Math problem with decimals, can someone please help?
Simplify as much as possible. Write your answer as a decimal.
7.3 – (2/5)(1.75)
The fraction threw me off, decimals has never been my best part of math. Thanks in advance for any help
Answer: 7.3 – (2/5)x(1.75)
2/5 = 4/10 = .4 (4 tenths)
1.75
x .4
———
.700
multiply like whole numbers then move the decimal place left 3 times because there are 3 digits behind a decimal.
7.3 – .7 = 6.6

Discrete Distribution
Below are methods of discrete probability distributions. Discrete probability distribution techniques are often used in discrete probability distributions problems and discrete data distribution problems in statistics. The formulas for discrete probability distributions below are very useful for calculating the mean and the variance.
