Math Help Trinomials

Question: I Need Help With Math? Factoring Trinomials?
1. 25f^2 – 40f + 16
2. x^2 + 12x + 32
Show your work please in order for me to understand how you got your answers. Thanks!
Answer: 1. Alerted by the 25 and the 16, I guessed that this just might have been a perfect square.
The minus sign in front of the 40f, together with the plus in front of the 16, means that the factors would be along the lines of (…f – …)(…f – …)
Next, I tried the following calculation in my head (FOIL) and it worked.
25f² – 40f + 16 = (5f – 4)²

2. What two numbers have the SUM of 12 and the PRODUCT of 32?
32 = 2⁵, so there aren’t too many options to try; the numbers will be 1 and 32, 2 and 16, or 4 and 8.
x² + 12x + 32 = (x + 4)(x +
