Question: what does “mode” in math mean?

i know its about math but i went on www.dictionary.com & they didn’t have it. please help because i am studing and i cant find the definition.

Answer: the mode i know about has to do with averages.

the mode gives you the number that has the most occurences of any number in a set of numbers.

so if in a class there are test scores of 90 67 80 77 65 90 34 77 66 90. the Mode is 90 becasue it occurs 3 times,more times than any other score.

the mode is related to mean which is found by adding up all the numbers and diving by the number of numbers and hte median which is the score that when the scores are ordered numerically, falls right in the middle at the 50 percentile.

Question: I need to learn Math,,, Fractions,Algebra,decimals… and maybe some spelling lol.?

Anyone got some good sites to where they explain and teach this stuff in great detail and or easy to learn from I am talking about high school level from 9th on up. My Math is horriable as ever.. I am sure I am not the only one out there… but if for some reason anyone is willing to help give me some sites out there that will teach me my math and help me brush up on it , I would greatly apperiacate it. thanks in advance.
I have only to take my Math Ged test left nad I am highly worried about.. what is on it and if I am gonna pass as I have a bad time even looking at math let alone doing it.. Please help me I am so disperate my test is on the 27 th of this month and I must learn.

Fractions to Decimals – YourTeacher.com – Math Help

Question: What is the website that tests a child’s math and geography?

Recently I found a website (they are actually selling a soft ware) that gives you sample math and geography online. We enjoyed using it and now I’ve forgotton the name of it. I hope someone can help. Thanks!

Answer: Good place to start looking is homeschool.com which seems to have lots of resources available.
