Question: Math question! Please help!?

There are 30 different versions of an online homework. These are assigned randomly to the students. If a group of 5 classmates decide to work on the homework together, what is the probability that at least two of them receive the same version?

Answer: P[all 5 get different versions]

= [30/3][29/3][28/30][27/30][26/30]

= .7037

so P[at least 2 get the same version]

= 1 – .7037

= .2963 or 29.63%

Question: Why do people rarely answer Calc 3 questions on here?

I haven’t been able to get much help from people on here than I have from previous years. I’m thinking I should find a math forum board to post on, but haven’t found any that would be suited to my needs. I just have some random questions sometime when I get stuck on homework. I posted a question earlier but haven’t gotten help yet… http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AikoEqYg2Hjihe4wiLk2_OHsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20081012172150AAVC6mF
