Question: Math Help?

HARRis has 20.92 to spend on a video game rentals at a local vid store the store charges 3.95 per vid game rental plus a 8.125 % tax what is the max number of vid games he can rent?

Answer: it’s 3.95(x)+(3.95(x)*0.08125)=20.95
3.95(x)+(x)(0.3209375)=20.95 simplify
x(3.95+0.3209375)=20.95 distribute property
x(4.2709375)=20.95 simplify
x=4.905 divide by 4.2709375

4 video games ( round down because it’s it’s five, it’s going to be too expensive)

Math Help with Suface Area

Question: I need some help in Math- Trigonometry?

Really hard take home test. :/

Find the diagonal of a square whos perimeter is 12.
all i know is each side would be 3 then.

& the sides of a right triangle measure 10, 24 and 26 to the nearest degree whats the measure of the smallest angle? (can you explain how to do this?)

Answer: 1. diagonal = 3 sqrt 2
…..The triangle is a 45:45:90 or 1:1:sqrt2
…..3:3:3sqrt2

2. sin x = 10/26
…..sin x = 22.6 or 23 degrees
…..10 would be opposite the smallest angle,
…..use sin of unknown = 10/26 and solve for x.
