Whenever you are faced with solving quadratic equations, you can use the following method of solving quadratic equations. 

Quadratic equation and simultaneous equations you have to solve

Suppose you are trying to solve the following quadratic equation simultaneous equations: 

y = 2x ² + 6x – 6 

y + 12 = 14x 

Solution to the simultaneous equations involving quadratic equation

Step 1: Rearrange the simultaneous equations 

The first thing to do in solving simultaneous equations involving quadratic equations is to re-organize the equations so that we can compare apples to apples. In another word, re arrange the simultaneous equations so that y is on the left hand side for both equations on its own as shown below. 

• The first equation is y = 2x ² + 6x – 6. Since y is already on the right hand side on its own, there is nothing to be done for the first equation at this stage.

Now we have two simultaneous equations involving quadratic equation as follows: 

y = 2x ² + 6x – 6 

y = 14x � 12

When you add to integers how can you decide wether their sum will be positive,negative,or zero?

Answer: Just add them together, and see what number they come out to.

If you add a positive with a negative then you take the negative number away.
e.g. 5+-4 is the same as 5-4 which =1

If you add two positives you always get positive.
e.g. 10+10=20

If you add a negative and a negative you get a negative
e.g. -4+-4 is the same as -4-4 which =-8

Question: How do I draw a circle with a chord?

I just started geometry today and I have 27 questions homework due in 12 hours. I’m doing math online so i have no one to ask can you please help me?

Answer: Measure the chord length. Mark the centre point on chord ( half the total length ), which also is the centre point for the circle. Using the centre point inscribe a circle with half length of chord as radius.

The diameter is also a chord of a circle, it is the longest chord you can have in a given circle.
