Question: Is Tutor-Vista worth the cost?

I’m really struggling in math, can anyone who has used Tutor-Vista tell me if it is worth the cost, does it compare or exceed the help of a live tutor?

Here comes the neat trick to solve this quadratic equation, add b 2 / 4a 2 to both sides of the quadratic equation in order to complete square on the left hand side. This gives the resulting quadratic equation:

Question: How do I do division for my Math test?

Hi I am 9 in 4th grade and this is my sisters account. She knows she is right here with me. I was wondering how do i do division? I have a major math test in my class and I don’t know how to do division. I know how to do halfs and all but, my class does problems like 500 divided by 6. So, I need like and easy way to do division and find the remainder. There is this one way in my class like you spli the number up and find like how many 6′s are in 500. than write the number under 500 and subtract it? And I’m a straight A student I don’t know how I can’t understand division? So, can anyone help me. No stupid answers this is a SERIOUS question now.

Answer: well you have to set it up in a certain way:
6/500
usually there is a line above the 500 hundred as well but this is just a computer
now you go through each number individually
first, can 6 go into 5
no so you set it up
0
6/500
now since it couldn’t go into 5 see if it goes into 50
now 6 goes into 50 8 times
now put it into the equation

now you have to subtract
6*8=48 so now subtract 48 by the 50:

now you can bring down the last number which is the zero

now 6 goes into 20 3 times so you put 3 on top of the zero:

now 3*6=18 so you subtract that from 20
